  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts such as almonds, walnuts, or pecans
  • 1/4 cup dried fruit such as raisins, cranberries, or chopped dates
  • 1/4 cup seeds such as pumpkin seeds or sunflower seeds
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions:

Start by heating the oven to 350F 175C

Put rolled oats, almond butter, maple syrup, chopped nuts, dried fruit, seeds, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt in a large bowl

Mix everything together well until it's all mixed together

Put parchment paper around the edges of a baking dish

In a firm and even way, press the mixture into the dish

Put it in an oven that is already hot and bake it for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the edges turn golden brown

Take the baking dish out of the oven and let it cool all the way down

The granola slab should be taken out of the dish and put on a cutting board once it has cooled

Cut into bars of any size you want

The granola bars can be kept at room temperature for up to a week in a container that doesn't let air in
