Spicy Cajun Salsa Burgers



There is a lot of flavor and heat in these Spicy Cajun Salsa Burgers. The spicy salsa goes well with the Cajun-seasoned beef patty, making for a satisfying and fiery burger experience. For people who like their burgers with a little kick!

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/4 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup diced onion
  • 1/4 cup diced bell pepper
  • 1/4 cup diced tomatoes
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp Cajun seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 4 slices pepper jack cheese
  • Lettuce leaves
  • Sliced pickles
  • Sliced jalapeos optional
  • Salsa for topping

Instructions:

Ground beef, bread crumbs, diced onion, diced bell pepper, diced tomatoes, minced garlic, egg, Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper should all be mixed together in a bowl

Combine well

Split the mixture in half and shape each half into a burger patty

Warm up your grill or pan on the stove by setting it on medium-high heat

The burger patties should be cooked on a grill or stove for four to five minutes on each side, or until they are done the way you like them

In the last minute of cooking, put a slice of pepper jack cheese on top of each burger and let it melt

Toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in a toaster until they are just barely brown while the burgers are cooking

Start by putting a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of each bun

Then, add a burger patty with melted cheese on top of each leaf

If you want, you can add sliced pickles and jalapeos

Put a lot of spicy Cajun salsa on top of each burger

Add the top half of the bun to the burger to finish it off, and serve it hot
