Love Bug Popcorn



A fun and festive snack that's ideal for Valentine's Day is Love Bug Popcorn. Classic popcorn gets a love touch from the combination of heart-shaped sprinkles and sweet pink coating, making it a delightful treat to share with your special someone.

Ingredients:
  • 1/3 cup popcorn kernels
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Red food coloring
  • Heart-shaped sprinkles

Instructions:

Pop the popcorn kernels using your preferred method and transfer them to a large bowl

In a small saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat

Add the granulated sugar to the melted butter and stir until the sugar dissolves

Stir in the salt and a few drops of red food coloring until you achieve your desired shade of pink

Pour the pink butter mixture over the popped popcorn and gently toss to coat evenly
